When do classes meet?
All courses are eight weeks in length. Classes meet on Monday or Wednesday evenings, as well as Tuesday or Thursday mornings. This is to meet the requirement of 24 hours of classroom instruction for the course.

How much course workload can be expected in the Diploma Program?
While the course workload for each student enrolled in the Renovation Institute Diploma program is outlined in each course’s syllabus, each student should expect to devote about six hours outside the classroom each week to complete the requirements for credit in the course.

What is expected of each student in the classroom?
These courses take on the form of a church cohort. That means that each student is to consider himself or herself as an active participant in the overall learning outcomes of each course. The student is encouraged to be ready to contribute to the classroom experience as a result of having sufficiently completed all assigned work for that week.

What is the cost of each course?
The tuition cost for each eight-week course is $100 (plus materials) and is due by the first night of the course.

Associate of Applied Science in Christian Ministries Degree Program

Courses for the Associate of Applied Science in Christian Ministries are available on Monday nights and Wednesday nights - 6:00-8:50pm, as well as Tuesday or Thursday mornings. All courses are eight weeks in length.

Course workload: each student can expect to spend 10-12 hours each week outside the classroom for assignment work.

Tuition is a fraction of the on-campus rate: Only $150 per credit hour.

Tuition Payment and Refund Policy

Tuition Payment: Payment is due PRIOR to the course starting.

Course Registration: The last day to ADD a course is the Sunday prior to the beginning of classes. For example, if a course starts on a Monday, you have until Tuesday to add the course.

Withdrawal Policy: The last day to DROP a course without penalty is the 2nd calendar day from the start date. For example, if a course starts on Monday, you have until Tuesday to DROP the course without penalty. Any date past that is considered a WITHDRAWAL. The "Refund" schedule is as follows:

  • 100% in first 2 days
  • 75% remainder of the first week
  • 50% for 2nd week
  • 0% for 3rd week and beyond

Grading Policy

In order to take the course for a grade and be able to take additional courses, a student must complete all assigned work in the course.

  • AAS Degree in Christian Ministry Students must do so within one week of the last day of class
  • Diploma in Biblical Studies Students must do so within two weeks of the last day of class
